北岸由美さんが描く愛らしいうさぎのバレリーナとバラの花を、刺繍職人が一つひとつ手刺繍で丁寧に表現しました。糸だけでなく、スパンコールやビーズをふんだんに使用し、小さなモチーフの中に繊細な輝きと立体感を詰め込んでいます。

キラキラと輝くティアラを身につけ、ふんわりと広がるピンクのチュチュで優雅に踊るうさぎのバレリーナ。もう片方には、ピンクのビーズを幾重にも重ねて表現した一輪のバラを添えました。まるでバレリーナに贈られた花束から、一輪のバラがこぼれ落ちたかのよう。左右で異なるモチーフがひとつの物語を紡ぐ、北岸由美さんらしいロマンティックで遊び心あふれるデザインです。

耳元には、上品な光沢のあるホワイトのパール調ビーズをアクセントに添え、可愛らしさの中にもさりげない華やかさをプラスしました。

Playful asymmetric embroidered earrings and clip-on earrings created in collaboration with the popular illustrator Yumi Kitagishi.

Yumi Kitagishi's adorable bunny ballerina and rose illustrations are brought to life through meticulous hand embroidery by skilled artisans. In addition to embroidery threads, sequins and beads are carefully incorporated to create delicate sparkle, texture, and dimension within each small motif.

One earring features a graceful bunny ballerina wearing a sparkling tiara and a fluffy pink tutu, dancing as though she's performing on a magical stage. The other features a beautiful pink rose, delicately created with layers of shimmering beads. It's almost as if a single rose has fallen from a bouquet presented to the ballerina after her performance. Together, these contrasting motifs tell a charming little story, perfectly capturing the romantic whimsy and playful imagination of Yumi Kitagishi's illustrations.
